This portfolio of works captures work from my high school AP Art class taken senior year and the pre-requisite classes. This was when I first discovered mixed media artwork because it was an assignment in class. Below is the first sunflower I ever painted and where that style of work began! My AP Art concentration was superstitions, so many of the paintings below are inspired by different superstitions one might have from picking petals off a flower to watching a shooting star. I am still proud of this body of work as it represents my beginnings of mixed media works and learning how to create in a collection based format.
