AUTHENTICITY

This portfolio of paintings captures work from the “Authenticity” collection. Inspired by the idea of coming home to your authentic self and learning to embrace who you are at your core. The collection was originally created in 2020 with 7 paintings. After selling 3, taking a break to sort out my life and get Ashley Ann Art official, I re-launched the collection in 2023 with 1 additional painting. The re-launch on this website includes 4 paintings ranging in size from 12x16 in to 24x36 in. The pieces contain bold acrylic paint strokes in a neutral color palette layered with vintage book, tissue, and scrapbook papers, lace, and gold leaf paint. The names of each piece come from a hidden word or phrases in the painting. I am so proud of this body of work as it represents my first official collection released on ashleyannart.co.
