2015-2018

This portfolio of works captures paintings from my mid-twenties post-grad era. This was when I began to create outside of a class room and without assignments to follow or collections to create. Still working in a lot of color, but discovering my love for neutral black and white abstract mixed media paintings. Below is the third sunflower painting I ever created and the inspiration for my first sunflower collection . My focus here wasn’t to create in collections at all, most of these works were created in stolen moments at night after working long hours at my corporate job in retail. I enjoy this body of work for what it is: an exploration of my style as an artist outside the constraints of school for the first time.
